My Darling Clementine is an English country music duo who formed in 2010 in Birmingham, England. Members - Lou Dalgleish & Michael Weston King (mydarlingclementinemusic.co.uk)
The band was formed by Birmingham-based couple Michael Weston Kingand Lou Dalgleish, musicians in their own rights for many years and who began to perform together as My Darling Clementine in 2010, after 10 years of marriage. Prior to My Darling Clementine, Lou Dalgleish worked with Bryan Ferry, Steven Spielberg and The performed at the Edinburgh Festival.
In 2012, My Darling Clementine released their first album, "How Do You Plead ?" The album received good reviews by the BBC & The Guardian and went on earn them 2012 Americana Music Artist of the year at the British Country Music Awards.
My Darling Clementine are influenced by the great American country duos from the 1960s and 1970s like Tammy Wynette and George Jones, or Johnny Cash and June Carter.
Opening this event is NJ's Amaury Perez. You may know Amaury by his old band names (and their vinyl releases) WILL TO LIVE and AMOR FATI . His two bands were frequent performers at Trenton NJ's Rock Club, City Gardens.

I booked this band a few times back in the 80's and remember their music quite well.
Coalescing in the early 80s and fronted by twin brothers Jay and Michael Aston the band quickly became popular on the indie scene, and by 1985 had established a settled line-up with the additions of Pete Rizzo on bass, Chris Bell on drums and James Stevenson on guitar. Consequently signing to Beggars Banquet they gained a following throughout Europe and the USA. Following the departure of Michael in 1988 and the imploding of their record label, Savage Records in 1993, the band pursued various projects until the 1999 release of a new batch of tracks, in VII. Further touring followed and in 2017 Dance Underwater was released. Produced by Peter Walsh, it featured a string arrangement by Tony Visconti. The band have just released their tenth studio album, X - Love Death Sorrow, to very positive reviews.

Doug Vizthum's band PLEASED YOUTH was one of the earliest NJ punk rock bands to be featured on Buy-Our Records. In 2020, Beer Records re-released of all their tunes - The Doomsday Album.
